In this case, you do not have to edit the 'mhc/mhc-make.rb' file.

Unfortunately MHC has other a few problems on NetBSD plathome. 
(e.g. about making files in mhc/ruby-ext/ directory.)
I'm sure that Nomura-san solved these problems soon :-).
